Different parts of the skate consists of:

1 - Table:
Today most are made of 7 layers of wood, usually maple Canadian. The tables have a way especially designed for skateboarding. One aspect to consider are the measures, especially the width of the table, depending on the type of skate to develop.
Con trucos o street la tabla adecuada puede ser de entre 7.5 a 7.87. Tables 7.5 and below are close, recommended for children. Also the more narrow or smaller table will be easier to do tricks, but more difficult caerlos. Those of 7.75 are the most common and the most popular.

To skate in skate parks with large half-pipes, a table of between 7.87 to 8.25 should be adequate. These tables are so wide that would not be advisable for a person to measure 1.50my despite a 40kg, tricks would be difficult to do.
Despite what every skater has commented preferences as to the measures.

2 - Sand:
Va stuck just above the table. The sandpaper is used to provide the grip that is required to perform the tricks. When we say "grip" refers to the traction between the shoe and the table, to control the skateboard.

3 - Axis:
They are two and are attached to the sides, but not to extremes. They are generally made of aluminum, but may be of different metals. The wheel axle support, and serve to make the turns, because they possess a flexible rubber, which makes this possible. It also consists of several components, which can be purchased separately and change, such as Kingpins (main screw), gums or plates.

4 - Wheels:
They are 4 and attached to both ends of the axes, and are made of a material called urethane. Vary in size depending on the style of skateboarding that is practiced. The more normal environment around the 52 mm. However if the style is street, small wheels are used, less than 53 mm in diameter. Ramp, use large wheels for speed greater than 56 mm. If the style is mixed it is desirable 54 - 55 mm. Usually the larger the wheel the greater the hardness, is usually smaller and softer. The wheels are used on hard floors and smooth as skateparks and street wheels for soft floors in the rough streets.
5 - Bearings:
Is a pair of metal rings with 6, 7 or 8 balls on the inside, protected by two thin disks. Usually aluminum. Each carries skate bearings 8, 2 per wheel. Depending on their speed of rotation is compared to a division called ABEC. The maximum abec 9, all odd degrees of this scale (1, 3, 5, 7, 9) Apart from the ABEC rating, there are better bearings, are Ranked Skate (Skate Rated). They are the fastest, a clear example of such classification are bearing the brand of Bones.

6 - Screws: For skate 8 screws are required to maintain the axes and the table together and 4 nuts for the wheels are not off, these nuts are screwed on the same axis.
At the front of the skateboard is called the nose (nose), back and tail (tail). The nose is bigger than the tail, ie, wider and longer screws to measuring from the tip of the table. The back foot is in the tail and nose in front.

* Stalefish: grabbing the board in the back. Stalefish derivatives are the same as the mute
* Tailgrab: grabbing the table by the tail, or tail. Derivatives are the same as the nosegrab.

Besides these there are some like the air rocket (grab the nose with both hands) or crailgrab (grab the nose with his hand back)

Tricks or lip locks

Are made on the edges of the ramps. These tricks are attempts to maintain balance on the "coping" as much as possible in various positions such as the axle stall, rock 'n' roll or noseblunt.

Flip tricks

The tricks are to do a flip jump and turn the table on different axes, so that when these are in the air now that the skateboard skateboard or no contact with your feet. Sample tips include: heelflip, shove-it, kickflip. Also in these types of tricks, depending on the height of the skater, you can add and do another trick.

Learn flips and takes considerable time and effort to do so at a good speed. It might be hard to get off, so practice is acquired with only one foot down at the table and the other on the floor, until it takes confidence.

Tips grind

Tricks of grind basically jumping on a sliding surface as a railing or a curb, keeping the balance and avoid falling. Basically consists of two types of tricks: the grinds, which are being conducted on the axis, as the 50-50, 5.0 or nosegrind, and the slides that are being conducted on the table as the board or slide the nose slide.

Before performing these tricks must be careful to make sure surface to be used to slide is properly lubricated for better glide, but not excessively. Wax is often used in the curbs and railings.

Manual tricks

Manual tricks are balancing on two wheels or even one. There are several types: manual, nosemanual, one foot manual, one wheel manual.

Flatland Tricks

The Flatland tricks are those that are done on a smooth surface and do not need much space, such as pogo or cousin.

Ollie

It is the basic skateboard trick, it derived almost all others. Is to jump to the table without a catch in her hand. To do this follow the following steps:

* Place one foot more or less in the middle of the table and the other in the back or tail tip.
* It takes momentum to jump, striking down the tail and sliding the foot that was in the middle of the table to the front screws.

1. While in the air, climb the feet, bending your knees if you want a greater height.
2. Touch the floor with knees bent to cushion the fall, the board trying to land horizontally.

It is easier to practice in a place where the table is not easily slide.

Wallride
